Mountain Guerrilla Apparel and Equipment Branding! Coming Soon!

November 9, 2012

Chris Costa is a friend of mine (not like a “shovel and lime call at 0300 friend” mind you), in meat space, as well as on Facebook.  I just saw on his page that guys are getting all queered out for the cool Costa Ludus t-shirts….So, to help fund the efforts of this blog, I’ve decided to start marketing “Mountain Guerrilla” long sleeve t-shirts, ball caps, and hoodies (other than cargo pants and jeans, pretty much the contents of my closet….)
In addition to a Gadsden Flag on the front, on the back, they will say “Mountain Guerrilla” across the back of the shoulders, then have a Silverback Gorilla, wearing a plate carrier, carrying an M4 below that)…….orders will commence in five, four, three, two, one…..now…..

Sorry, I’m worn out, and needed some levity in my life for a moment.

I do wish you would seriously consider such a venture. In my opinion, the long sleeve T-shirt as described along with a subdued patch and a ball cap would probably cover your initial product offering quite well. If I may be of assistance, in this or any other matter, please contact me via e-mail.

    I’m down with that

    • Did everyone overlook the part at the end where I said it was a joke?

On the other hand, as overwhelmingly popular as the idea seems to be……maybe I;ll look into it.

      • Now that was fucking funny. “I no keed.” It is a great idea.

      • On the one hand, I feel like it would be kind of farcical to turn this excellent website into just another empty brand for people to indulge in consumerism over… But on the other hand, a silverback gorilla wearing a plate carrier is. fucking. awesome., and I would sheepishly hand over hard-earned fed-reserve notes for that morale patch.

        Was hilarious.

However, I would seriously put a hundred bucks aside to buy the hoodie and long sleeve tee. Serious, a Gorilla with a plate carrier and an M4? Awesome, worth the money. Would it be like Planet of the apes? Lady Liberty in the background? Spent casings and skulls underfoot would be cool too.

  14. In for a hoodie, and a silverback/m4/pc morale patch is a kick ass idea.

A silhouette of Borah Peak in the background would make it all that much more classy.

  16. I got bummed when I read you were kidding. I’ll even stoop to wearing something with a weak little M4.
